From Golden Boy to Silver Lining: Decoding Why Neeraj Chopra Didn’t Win Gold ๐Ÿ…

Browsing the internet, I came across an advertisement featuring Neeraj Chopra working out in an extravagant gym, performing impressive and innovative. Seeing this, I reflected on how, when he started, he didnโ€™t have access to such facilities and techniques, yet he still managed to win gold. Now that he has everything, perhaps even more than he needs, he struggles perform at the same level.

Why is this happening? To unravel this, I concluded that when you have a clear goal, you find ways to overcome obstacles to achieve it. However, when the path is too easy, it can actually diminish performance.

Facilities tend to corrupt a person rather than enhancing their performance. It’s comparable to someone using a basic 4,000 rupee phone to make a video that goes viral, but once they become famous and get advanced equipment, they find it hard to get views. It’s like how the original movie is highly entertaining, but the sequel often falls short.
